Driving Lessons and Road Tests
I signed up for one lesson
You’ve changed your mind and we completely understand. Here’s how we can help.
If you haven’t yet taken your lesson and would like a refund, you can request a refund so long as the following conditions are met:
- If you’ve scheduled the lesson but changed your mind, you must cancel the lesson with at least 24 hours notice. A late cancellation will require you to attend the lesson.
- If you haven’t scheduled it yet, you’re free to request a full refund at any time, just get in contact with our office
If you have decided to take your lesson but change your mind during the lesson:
- You must notify your instructor that you want to stop the lesson before the halfway mark. This means stopping the lesson before the 45 minute mark for our 90 minute lessons.
I've signed up for a road test package or multiple lessons
You’ve had one or more lessons but no longer need the reminder of the lessons in your package or no longer need the road test service we provide.
- We will refund you for the remaining lessons and/or road test service
- Any appointments that you’ve cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged at full price.
The drive test centre closed due to poor weather conditions or other reasons before I could take my road test
If you’ve gone to the drive test centre with your instructor but the center closed due to poor weather conditions or for whatever other reason and you are unable to take your test, we will give you 50% off for your next scheduled exam. This 50% discount would apply to the basic road test package as well as any additional fee charged for test centres outside of Toronto.
This is a rare but unfortunate possibility. While we aren’t responsible for unforeseeable events, we empathize with our students. We also have to compensate our instructors for their time. If you and your instructor agree to reschedule the road test to another day due to risk of bad weather, you will not be charged on our behalf so long as the rescheduling is done 24 hours ahead of the test date. The Drive Test centre requires that you reschedule/cancel 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged.
